Navratri, Mishika House of Ritual Launch and Transpersonal Coaching

I am writing to you with a feeling of both inward reflection and emergence. I recently arrived back in the UK from India after 2 years away so I have been landing quietly and reconnecting with my family who I hadn’t seen for too long, and after such strange and intense times.

It’s the New Moon and the eve of Autumn Navratri, one of my favourite and most precious festivals of the year and I reach out with the hope of seeding connection and creative visions with the energy of this moon and to share a few offerings and invitations with you.

A guided self-practice navratri sādhanā

As many of you will know, Navratri, which celebrates the Divine Feminine principle in the form of Durga, is a powerful opportunity for us to invoke and awaken our own inner strength, resilience and Love.

What is Navratri?

Navaratri is a festival of nine nights celebrating the Feminine Principle, also known as Shakti, in the Yoga tradition or simply the Goddess or Great Mother. The duration of this festival is believed to be a very potent time for spiritual practice and transformation and an opportunity to amplify our intentions and prayers for our heart, through all time and space.

Durga, the primary form of the Feminine invoked and celebrated, invites us to tend to the flame of our heart and to renew our commitment towards stepping into our power and wisdom, and in remembering and rising in our worth and Truth.

You may wish to begin your first practice on the eve of Navratri (tonight, 6th October), so you will have ten days in total, to enter through the portal of the New Moon to plant seeds of hope and vision for your growth and the future.

I would also like to share Mishika, House of Ritual, and I invite you to join and follow the journey HERE.

Mishika, miṣikā (मिषिका) means 'gift of love’ and it refers to Śakti (Shakti) in the form of ‘Durga Ma’; it is also the name of the Indian Spikenard (Nardostachys jatamansi), an ancient medicinal herb known to relax and soothe the nervous system promoting a calm and peaceful mind. It has been regarded as a sacred and valuable oil since biblical times and Mary Magdalene was described to have anointed Jesus Christ with spikenard at the Last Supper.

Mishika embodies love, compassion, healing, ritual, service and connection.

Mishika is a platform for sharing 𝘨𝘪𝘧𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 through ancient teachings, brave space and sacred and ritual items, hand sourced in India and (or) handmade at home. Each item is chosen or created with Love and Healing at heart.

Transpersonal Coaching

For the last year I have been immersed in the study and practice of Transpersonal Coaching Psychology.

I was inspired to explore this as I have often sought support myself during times of uncertainty, transition or process, from personal and collective life circumstances or simply the stirring of my practices. I have needed a safe, nonjudgemental space to share and be listened to, to shift my perspective and articulate my needs, my values and my vision which may have become stagnant or cloudy.

I personally believe that we can not be doing yoga or true self-inquiry if we are not meeting parts of ourselves and our lives and wondering how to grow with or through them or how we can transform and re-pattern outdated operating systems. To be heard and have my thoughts and ideas reflected back with empowering questions has been priceless and transformational for me.

Transpersonal Coaching is a co-created process, I facilitate a space for you to explore what is needed, I recognise and trust in your inner resourcefulness and I see your Wholeness and your potential. The ’Transpersonal’ aspect is essential from my view as it considers body, mind and spirit, it recognises that we are spiritual beings in a human body, connected to a vast web of inter-dependent Life, yet it does not deny any part of our experience. As I have been studying and experiencing the practice I recognise and understand the synergy and resonance with the Tantric view and am deeply inspired to be working with these tools and teachings together.

Would you like to co-create with me?

For my final semester I am looking to work with a number of individuals for single or a multiples sessions of Transpersonal Coaching. This is part of my final practice hours to complete my training therefore there is no charge. I will share more in the next couple of weeks, however if this has resonated with you and you are interested to explore Transpersonal Coaching with me over the next 3 months, please reach out and send me an email here.

Thank you for taking the time to read this far and please do get in touch about any of the above.
Blessings on your path and I pray for our paths to weave together in real life again soon. With love and reverence,

Mischa x
